We chose to spend our Christmas holidays in NIck's home and all 6 members of our group sincerely enjoyed the week! From the time we booked this home in the summer to the day we arrived, Nick communicated promptly and was more than generous with his time and information that was helpful to us in planning our trip. During our stay, he made himself fully available by phone, text, and email in spite of it being the holiday week.

Modern Living is exactly as described......a mid-century modern home with fabulous mountain views and a backyard that offers complete privacy, pool/spa, grassy areas, and plenty of outdoor seating options. For us, both the modern and vintage aircraft that graced the skies over the backyard only added to ambience.....they were certainly not a disruption. Because it was December, we opted to have the pool and spa heated and while the air was cool, the robes provided in each bedroom made their use quite enjoyable.

The house itself is perfect for a party of 6 and there are more than sufficient linens (including pool towels), household supplies, and entertainment options. The kitchen is well equipped and we were able to prepare and serve holiday meals without any problems. Inside seating allows for dining and "hanging" together and the open floor plan means that the kitchen worker bees are not isolated from the rest of the group.

Lastly, the location of NIck's home could not be better for visitors to Palm Springs. It is convenient to the airport, close to grocery and other stores, and an easy drive (or short Uber) to downtown.

RE: some of the more recent review comments.....Nick has, as promised,
added brand new living room furniture so no issues there. Out tech guru was able to find a work around for the living room TV, but Nick tells me that he has since worked with the cable provider to straighten everything out. The toilets work perfectly if you just hold the handle down long enough to let the bowl empty and the stove performed perfectly (and we put it to the test several evenings.) Most importantly, Nick is responsive to his guests' concerns and goes out of his way to make their stay the best it can be.

Should our family decide to make Palm Springs our Christmas destination in 2020, we will certainly be in touch with Nick to reserve Modern Living......there is no need to look further!!
