WALKABLE. Some days require attention to detail, like artisan bougie coffee. Plus wine. And beer. Don't forget there's an upstairs AND a downstairs. (The BACK stairs themselves are not to be missed. Find them.) Bonus: buy a six pack of whatever to bring back to your own living room.

Best specialty cuppa in town. Turns into a cerveceria in the late afternoon; shared space with Salud bottle shop. The owner, Lindsey Pitman, is also a co-founder of Suffolk Punch//Hyde Brewing, a concept coffeeshop, restaurant, brewery and fermentation lab in South End.

A live music venue by evening, The Daily Press is inside the Evening Muse. They serve unique coffee creations and have local art on display as well. One of the best of the city
