Listen to your Haitian host when I tell you that this restaurant serves THE best Haitian food in Brooklyn. They also feature great musical acts regularly and have a nice outdoor dining situation. Stand out dishes: -Soup Joumou (squash soup) -Griot (fried pork) - Diri djon djon (black mushroom rice) - Kabrit (fried goat) - Legume (thick veggie stew w/ your protein of choice) The list goes on.

I’ve never seen a place that embraces The Haitian diaspora like this. Compared to KALS BAKERY - this is where you should go if you don’t know how to order like a local but want to still indulge in the culture. I usually go vegan here. I get the legume with a side of plantains and eat it like a dip. Everything on the menu is so good. I love the pasta too! They also have live music and events.
