Amber Hardy: Edenton local and realtor

"Saturdays by the Bay are my favorite, Edenton Bay that is! Our downtown waterfront rents kayaks by the hour. Grab a sandwich at Westover General Store and eat it in the courtyard at Edenton Bay Trading Company while enjoying a glass of rose or craft beer.

The Steamers are a collegiate baseball league team who play each summer at our Historic Hicks Field. Edenton is a true, all-American, small town; fireworks and all. You can find me by the beer garden at most home games. Go Clams!"

Helen Craddock: Manager, Tyrrell County Visitors Center in Columbia, NC

"Columbia, NC beckons you to slow down and enjoy the small-town life. Come visit the eclectic shops and local restaurants. Browse through Pocosin Arts and take inspiration from our vibrant artist community.

Pop in to the Tyrrell County Visitors Center where travel information is provided with southern hospitality. Head to the Pocosin Lakes National Wildlife Refuge to experience the abundance of wildlife including red wolves, deer, bear, red-cockaded woodpeckers, and wintering waterfowl. You might even see an alligator!"
