The Chef’s Shed - a farm stay

Situated in "cool country" Trentham, the Chef’s Shed was originally built in 1860, and has been lovingly transformed into a cosy, spacious and unique place to stay. It has quirky living spaces, including a loft, and wide, stunning views over the land around, even from the private sauna which can be used for a modest fee. From here you can explore the region. We are surrounded by nature, and a few minutes from The Falls and historic Trentham with cafes, pubs, walking tracks and a lot of history.

Farm Host stay in a Studio Train Carriage.

A 'farm host experience' staying in a 1950's train carriage that has been converted into a small apartment. The carriage is fully self contained with standard conveniences including aircon, microwave, dishwasher, oven and fridge. It is a stand alone unit with farm views, has an outdoor patio area with a pot belly stove and undercover parking 2.1m high. The farm produces beef and lamb and also has alpacas, chickens, a friendly dog and a cat. Guests are welcome to explore the 70 acre property.
