The house is a fantastic base to visit the ancient cities of LaRaya Luso, marvel at the authentic Spanish and Portugese folklore, hike trough the surrounding wilderness and numerous megalithic remains and menhirs. And not last, also to just relax and enjoy the scenery with and birds flying over while having a local wine and some tapas. Welcome!

Tapada da Raia has 35 acres of land, in the Natural Park of Serra de São Mamede (being the last Portuguese house, because it is bordered to Spain). For years it served as an anti-stress refuge for the family, who today decided to open the doors for those who want to spend relaxing days in the nature. The rustic-style house features the necessary amenities for an invigorating holiday, away from the hustle and bustle of the city, where even time seems to take longer to pass. Hope you like it!

Somos Javier y Juanjo y tenemos una vivienda unifamiliar en una parcela de 1000 m. en Sierra de Fuentes, con zonas de césped y piscina privada. La casa está dividida en dos plantas completamente independientes separadas por una escalera exterior que da acceso a vuestro alojamiento y la piscina. El acceso a la parcela y las zonas exteriores son compartidas, y estaremos encantados de teneros tan cerca, pero al mismo tiempo, con toda la intimidad de estar en plantas distintas e independientes

Our little stone cottage lies on a stream and has views of the beautiful hills and meadows full of olive and cork trees. In the garden you will find some fruit trees, herbs and flowers. Not far there is a nice waterfall to enjoy hot summer days. This is a peaceful place to relax. Here you can get immersed in nature's beauty, enjoy the sky full of stars and listen to the sheep's bells chiming.
