Wi-Fi provided just in case the weather does not want to cooperate with your outdoor plans. Many of the floors recently upgraded. Bathroom updated to include shower/tub.

Our cottage is a base camp from which to enjoy the beauty of the north woods. Plan your winter to snowmobile, ice fish, downhill or cross-country ski and hike. In summer make it a get-a-way for fishing, kayaking, canoeing, or ATVing. Venture out to the numerous waterfalls, hike the Ottawa National Forest or Sylvania Wilderness, view the scenic Porcupine Mountains, drive through the Keweenaw peninsula. Amenities include high speed internet, stainless appliances, coffee maker, front load washer and dryer, streaming services/Apple TV, 3 flat screen TV's, 2 fireplaces , central AC and a high efficiency furnace. The home is situated on 4 wooded acres (not lakefront) off a well maintained gravel road. Very private. No neighbors in sight. Wildlife is abundant. Dogs are OK w/approval & fee.

Our property offers a Peaceful Getaway in a Resort Setting on a Quiet Lake. "Great Location", "Amazing Views", "Clean", "Cozy", "Perfect", "Peaceful", "Comfortable", and "Relaxing" are what we repeatedly hear from our guests after their stay. The Heart of Vilas County Bike Trails and numerous Hiking trails are just minutes away. The #5 Snowmobile/ATV trail runs across the front of the property along Hwy 51 and we are surrounded by many area lakes and the Northern Highland State Forest.

Black River Road Retreat

Private home on 40 acres surrounded by woods and wetlands on the Black River Rd. National Scenic Byway. It's a secluded place with lots of peace and quiet to be had. This is a perfect base for exploring the Northwoods with Copper Peak just 1 mile north, and 5 waterfalls on the 5 mile drive to Black River Harbor. It's a great place to get away and into Nature. There's a big yard with ample parking, playset and space for trailers. Trails in the back yard with a nice fire pit too!

The Loft Above the Barn, Tamarack Moon,

Our place is a back-to-nature farm setting. . You’ll love our place because of the rustic location, the farm ambiance, and the beautiful outdoors. The Loft is comfortable and has one queen bed, one standard double bed and a couch. There is a bathroom with sink, toilet, and shower. Dogs are welcome with prior approval/notification and there is a $15 dollar cleaning fee. Dogs must be leashed at all times for their safety (See further information under Neighborhood description)

Whitley House

Get away from it all! Step back and enjoy nature at its finest. The Whitley house is furnished with all the essentials plus some and if you have a special request or need we do everything we can to try to accommodate you. 10 mins from Lake Gogebic County Park and many other fishing spots. A short drive to the Porcupine Mountains and directly off the ATV/snowmobile trail that runs through Marenisco.

The beautiful Northwoods combined with a stay at our small organic vegetable farm is a perfect place to relax. While not on a lake, we are surrounded by lakes, beaches and trails. Cross country ski, snowmobile, snowshoe, ice skate and then come back to our cozy, warm apartment. Centrally located in the Northwoods of Wisconsin it’s the perfect place to slow down and relax.
