This little gem of a spot is on a secluded island in the middle of the Mississippi River. The sound of the rapids will lull you to sleep in your magical tent perched right over the water! With all of the modern conveniences including hot water, outdoor shower, bar fridge, wifi and well appointed outdoor kitchen. This year we are building a treehouse on the island so although we will ensure no construction takes place during your stay, there will be construction materials around on the island

Welcome to our cozy country retreat. Our guesthouse offers everything you need to unplug from the hustle of the city. Howe Island Bunkie: Enjoy the Thousand Isands on the St Lawrence River in a private bunkie. Cabin sleeps 2 with separate bathroom. Property includes kayaks , peddle boat, canoe, firepit (wood provided), corn-hole game, etc. Cabin has electricity, fan/heater, mini-fridge, microwave, kettle, tea, coffee (Keurig), dishes, bedding/towels provided and propane BBQ. Just bring your food, special beverages, and relax. Pets stay free.

No wifi but excellent cell service. Cottage is basic but views are fantastic. Scorpion Island is a unique experience in the heart of the 1000 Islands just east of Gananoque.
