Rustic Cottage in a Wild Flower Meadow

Sitting pretty in a wild flower meadow surrounded by open fields, this barn conversion is countryside simplicity at its best: updated appliances and rustic furniture arranged for open-plan living to relax unwind and enjoy the tranquil surroundings. The barn is located in the meadow behind our thatched cottage. The space is entirely your own and is self catered with a well equipped open plan kitchen. We're on hand should you need any advice or assistance during your stay, though you'll have your own privacy and can interact as much or as little as you'd like. Enjoy pastoral tranquility here whilst being within an easy 10-minute reach of the medieval charm of Lavenham. Public footpaths are close by or venture further afield to admire the beautiful Cathedral in Bury St Edmunds. Once you arrive in the barn, there is a small collection of books about the surrounding area and county. We can of course recommend places to visit.

Grade ll listed Victorian Cottage set in the heart of the Medieval Village of Lavenham in Suffolk. Lavenham is the perfect place to visit and enjoy an all year round selection of festivals and events. There are many award winning galleries and boutique shops to browse with plenty to explore in the surrounding area. A 7.5 Kw EV charging point is available, with costs based on usage and electricity cost. In the pleasant village of Great Waldingfield, with a pub, village shop, and close to Sudbury (3 miles), Lavenham (4 miles), Bury St. Edmunds(16 miles). We live next door so are happy to help with directions and what to do in the area.

No77 High Street is a pretty, grade II listed cottage ideally placed to walk to all attractions within historic Lavenham. A few doors down from a Coop - well stocked with provisions for your stay. Recently completely refurbished, all furnishings are new, including new beds with SIMBA mattresses, top quality bed linen and towels. To the rear is a terrace - a sheltered spot for breakfast al-fresco. It has a lockable rear entrance for secure cycle and pushchair storage. Free car park 100m away.

Shepard’s Hut in Small Orchard

This is a stand alone unit totally self contained with shower and toilet. Unlike garden rooms this unit has wheels and a tow bar. The (should I say) Shepherdess Hut as it was used by a small holder during lambing to be close to her flock. Not suitable for long stays. More details below in The Space. Our small orchard has 2 x cherry, plum, 3 x pear, 2 x apple, greengage, apricot, mulberry, medlar and olive. We also have two 2 x raspberry, loganberry, Japanese wine berry and our own hops

Centrally located to enjoy the beautiful Suffolk countryside, Honeybee is within walking distance of the delightful village of Cavendish, a short drive to Long Melford, Clare and historic Lavenham with its famous timber-framed houses and just 12 miles from the Cathedral town of Bury St Edmunds. Honeybee is a well-equipped end of terrace. The village has a pub boasting delicious home-cooked food, a Chinese, fish and chip shop and social club along with two mini supermarkets, and pharmacy.
