We are surrounded by miles of off-road paths for quiet walks and easy bike rides, yet near enough to the Chupadera Mountains for the more adventurous hiker. Custom built passive solar home at the north end of the Magdalena Mountains - the best view in town of Magdalena Mountain and the lady of the mountain (though the lady looks her best at the end of the driveway). Property borders the Cibola National Forest, great 360deg views, the sky is magic and ever changing, dark skies at night. Closest neighbor a quarter mile away, but you are still just a five minute drive to the village. Open floor plan, 30mins from Socorro, 90 mins to ABQ airport.

Thunderbird Cabin

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Thunderbird cabin is located in the Manzano mountains. Only 70 miles south east of Albuquerque New Mexico with all four sides bordering the National Forest. This home is off grid using solar energy to power the appliances and lights in the house. This is a great place to come just to rest, read and maybe take a long walk in the woods. We have a little pond behind the house where deer and turkeys and many other Wildlife like together.

Located on 20 acres in rural New Mexico, only 15 minutes from Bosque del Apache Wildlife Refuge. Resting on the banks of the Rio Grande River, the property abounds with its own wildlife---owls, turkeys, hawks, and deer as well as beautiful native plants. With no neighbors nearby, you can enjoy the beautiful night sky. We're not real fancy, but we're clean, comfortable and quiet! Natural beauty and wildlife surround this sweet cabin in the mountains south of Magdalena. Come to relax and unwind in the beautiful pine woods or book a personal art retreat to focus on your work or learn something new. Beautifully refurbished two bedroom, one bath cabin contains two small-scale art making spaces and a writer’s corner. There are rough sawn wood floors throughout with one of a kind red cedar floors in the living room. Full kitchen with apartment size appliances.

Quiet and Beautiful Country Living. Wi-Fi throughout the Cabin. Smells & noises of country life. Doorway into the bedrooms is under 6'. Bedroom ceilings are under 7'. You have to walk through the smaller bedroom to get to the larger one. Accordion door between the 2 bedrooms for privacy. You can hear the coyotes and occasional dogs barking at night. You are welcome to wander the property. We also have ducks and chickens. We always have fresh eggs to share.

Lone Pine Inn

Converted 1942 lumber and hardware store. Close to main street, 2 bedrooms, 1 queen bed, 1 twin bed with twin trundle. Plenty of floor in the living room for multiple cots/air mattresses (1 Queen air mattress provided). Non-smoking. Pets are welcome, fenced area in the back. Large parking area for RVs, trailers, or multiple vehicles. I'm the owner Cindi Smith and I grew up here. Our town has perfect weather and lots to do. Come visit us!
