Wonderful Suite

This great room is part of my house that is featuring a private entrance, private bathroom, and a kitchenette but not a full kitchen. It is also an old house but well maintained in the neighborhood but not suitable for children. This vibrant architecture with brick, large porch, large windows, and a sense of the 18th century beauty. It’s also located between an highway and a main road, meaning cars noises are present. Please only book if you feel comfortable with the location, a car is ideal.

A lovely tiny home with features and snugly feel that will keep you feeling right at home! Minutes off the 222 and right in the center of Lancaster County you will find much to keep you occupied. Tucked behind the edge of town, with a house on either side, meadow for the front view and woods behind, gives the feel of country but walking distance to shopping and food. The room is fully independent from the rest of our house. It has a private entrance with NO shared space.

The Nicholas Stoltzfus Homestead is the oldest restored Amish property in Berks County, bought by Immigrant Nicholas Stoltzfus (ancestor of all Stoltzfus descendants in America) in 1771. You will be staying in a peaceful and cozy barn loft apartment with a private entrance beside the stone house. You can enjoy the flower gardens and birds, tour the house, take a bike ride or picnic on the lawn. Adjacent to the property is the Union Canal Towpath on the Tulpehocken Creek.

Nature is only a few steps away on the beautiful trails of Neversink Mountain. Private parking is available in the driveway.

The loft is in a newly renovated barn, located on our small farm in Gap PA. The location is approximately 15 min from Lancaster County’s main attractions.
