Beautiful newly renovated traditional Croatian oak house can be rented by people who love the nature and would like to escape the daily stress and pressure. Its order part has been built before about 150 years from thick oak wood. In 2010 it was completely reconstructed and built again on a new fundament. It is professionally isolated so that heat in summer or cold in winter cannot get in. Furthermore it has new oak windows and a new roof. There is a modern bathroom and an extra guest toilet. The fully equipped kitchen with a hearth, a fridge and a dish washer offers enough space for cocking and eating. There are two bedrooms and in addition there is a sleeping sofa in the living room where you will find a nice fireplace and a big flat screen TV with which you can receive some hundreds TV stations via satellite. Audio equipment is also available. On warm afternoons or evenings you can enjoy your coffee or tee on the 20 m² big terrace or lie in the hammock with an unspoiled view in to the nature. In the evening you can finish the day by playing boule on the lighted boule ground while enjoying a glass of red wine or you can watch the beautiful stars in the deep blue sky. For lovers of the campfire there is a large fire pit available And now the best thing about it: the estate is adjoined to the river Kupa where you can swim in clear and clean water and enjoy fishing without being disturbed. Places of interest: The National Park Lonjsko polje with the traditional village Čigoć, in which you will find a stork nest on the roof of almost every house, is 50 km away and is worth wile a visit. The airport from Zagreb is 55 km away. Zagreb, the capital of Croatia with its numerous restaurants and shopping centres as well as its picturesque old town you will find in a distance of 60 km. Sisak, the county capital is 30 km away and offers also many sopping opportunities. The well known Plitvicer Seas are 170 km away and the island Krk 200 km. How to find us: From Zagreb you drive direction Velika Gorica / Sisak till Žažina. In Žažina you turn right in direction Pokupsko and drive about 15 km till Orleković. In Orleković you turn left in direction Šišinec / Brkiševina. After about 3 km you turn right in direction Šišinec. Behind the church you turn right, next street left and at the next crossing you turn again left. After about 300 m you will reach the last house at the right side. You are very welcome to bring your pets with you.
