The Farrier's Shop

Converted Farrier's Shop, which provides a large space for family, friends or colleagues to spend time in this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, close to the banks of the River Orwell. Freston Forge offers flexible accommodation for family and friends. The Farrier's shop configuration provides two en-suite king-size bedrooms, and a further twin bedroom ideal for children (full size single beds). A great family venue including your pets: with 75" cinema TV, games table, and a private garden.

The annexe

A charming, spacious annexe situated in the heart of the Shotley peninsula, with easy access to the Rivers Orwell & Stour. Tucked away down a small lane, leading to a network of pubic footpaths, the Annexe is seperate from a grade 2 listed property, with ample parking, and a gated courtyard and patio area. The accommodation consists of a large open plan Kitchen/dining/living area and one bedroom with en-suite toilet and shower. The living area also has a small sofa bed available on request.

One of our two boats we have to offer this is a lovely yacht with amazing views, Marina location sleeps 4, perfect place for those get togethers, or just to chill. The Annexe

Very light self contained Annexe in a peaceful rural location in the lovely village of Chelmondiston, near Ipswich. The village contains shops, pubs and the River Orwell, and all are within walking distance. Plenty of parking, you will have your own private entrance and west facing patio to enjoy the Suffolk sunsets. Two TVs and compact but full kitchen with washer / dryer. Well-behaved pets are allowed but please note the outside space is not fully enclosed. All bookings via AirBNB please.

Charming cottage with views of the river Orwell

Bugg Cottage is a cosy place, even though the name might suggest otherwise, we’ll make sure it’s cobweb free, ready and inviting. Situated down a peaceful lane with views of the River Orwell. The village pub offering good food a 3 min walk, nearby the marina and café. Plenty of footpaths to discover and explore with beautiful country lanes for whizzing around on bikes. It is a great setting to just relax or base for discovering the surrounding areas and the best Suffolk has to offer.

The Hideaway, Lark Cottage

The Hideaway is the perfect retreat from which to explore historic Pin Mill and the Shotley Peninsula, unwind with beautiful walks, bird watching and good food at the local pub or find a quiet workspace within a private garden surrounded by wildlife. The Hideaway is set across a private road from the main house and is 150m from the River Orwell. Walks in the AONB and National Trust-owned woods and heathland are on your doorstep. The Butt & Oyster pub is a few minutes walk away.

The Cottage is at the end of a pretty tree-lined drive set in the 12 acre grounds of Street Farm. It is a beautiful setting with water meadow and streams, surrounded by an abundance of wildlife. The cottage is detached and well away from the farmhouse making it a wonderfully peaceful and secluded place to relax. There are many footpaths to explore straight from the Cottage, with both the River Deben and Newbourne Springs Nature Reserve in easy walking distance.
