Our cottage is a base camp from which to enjoy the beauty of the north woods. Plan your winter to snowmobile, ice fish, downhill or cross-country ski and hike. In summer make it a get-a-way for fishing, kayaking, canoeing, or ATVing. Venture out to the numerous waterfalls, hike the Ottawa National Forest or Sylvania Wilderness, view the scenic Porcupine Mountains, drive through the Keweenaw peninsula. The home is situated on 4 wooded acres (not lakefront) off a well maintained gravel road. Very private. No neighbors in sight. Wildlife is abundant. Dogs are OK w/approval & fee.

Super-convenient location easily walkable to everything the downtown island has to offer including many restaurants, shops, beach, and the famous Bearskin Trail. Private pier slip for your boat included! Cruise the Minocqua Chain of Lakes, enjoy miles of area trails or simply relax on the deck and watch the boats go by.

The Loft Above the Barn, Tamarack Moon,

Our place is a back-to-nature farm setting. . You’ll love our place because of the rustic location, the farm ambiance, and the beautiful outdoors. The Loft is comfortable and has one queen bed, one standard double bed and a couch. There is a bathroom with sink, toilet, and shower. Dogs are welcome with prior approval/notification and there is a $15 dollar cleaning fee. Dogs must be leashed at all times for their safety (See further information under Neighborhood description)

Moonlighting Cabin

Newly remodeled vacation rental on Moen Lake, just 5 minutes East of Rhinelander. Quiet setting offers 6+ acres and 300' of shared frontage in a former resort complex. Cabin has 2 bedrooms (one queen bed and one with 2 twins), bathroom, full kitchen with all amenities, and living room. TV with ROKU and free WIFI. Boat slip, fire pit, large recreation area for games, picnic table, grill, and more. Cabin comes with 2 kayaks that you can use to explore the 5 lake Moen Chain.

Pine Tree Lodge

Genuine log cabin with all the comforts needed for a relaxing getaway to nature. Privacy, room to roam. Huge firepit area with abundant seating. Good fishing. Spectacular fall foliage. Winter-direct access to snowmobile trails or stay cozy indoors in front of the fireplace. There are a few taxidermy species mounted on walls. Board games. Three TVs. Dish Network and Internet. Not a good swimming lake but other lakes for swimming and boating within 5-10 minutes away.

You’ll love my place because of the location, the ambiance, the outdoor space, and the neighborhood. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and families (with kids). Dog friendly! Get away from it all! Step back and enjoy nature at its finest. The Whitley house is furnished with all the essentials plus some and if you have a special request or need we do everything we can to try to accommodate you. 10 mins from Lake Gogebic County Park and many other fishing spots. A short drive to the Porcupine Mountains and directly off the ATV/snowmobile trail that runs through Marenisco.

The beautiful Northwoods combined with a stay at our small organic vegetable farm is a perfect place to relax. While not on a lake, we are surrounded by lakes, beaches and trails. Cross country ski, snowmobile, snowshoe, ice skate and then come back to our cozy, warm apartment. Centrally located in the Northwoods of Wisconsin it’s the perfect place to slow down and relax.
