This apartment is situated 5 minutes off Inland Scenic Route 72 and less than 20 minutes from the friendly farming village of Geraldine. Use the apartment as a launch pad to local activities in Peel Forest (horse treks and bush walks), Lake Tekapo (ice skating, snow tubing, day spa and hot pools), Mt Cook (beautiful scenic walks and helicopter rides), or just a place to relax and escape from the hustle and bustle of town. If your view is to have a great night's sleep to ski, whitewater raft, fish, mountain bike or hike then this is the place for you. An hours drive from Christchurch and close to skiing at Mt Hutt. We know you'll love everything the outdoors has to offer from Methven. The resort also has a spa pool, restaurant in peak season & tennis court.

Methven offers both great winter and summer escapes, with the mountain base only 10 minutes from the house, where you can also find some great mountain walks/biking. Or you can relax in the Opuke hotpools, just a 15min walk. You won't be disappointed staying in our comfortable home.
