Set amidst towering red & white oaks, elm, and magnolia trees, we offer a variety of entertainment options including 2 sparkling pools, basketball, disc golf, canoeing/tubing, fishing, & more! Pets are welcome too! We have 3 cabins on site so if this one is unavailable look for one of our other two.

Our cabin is the perfect getaway to enjoy nature, coffee on the front porch or a cocktail on the upstairs deck, a ride in the woods or a swim in the freshwater creeks. It is a great place to enjoy a romantic weekend, or a vacation with the kids and your pets for outdoor adventures which include hiking or biking the many trails and ravines, or capturing images of birds and other wildlife with your camera. The cabin has a fully equipped kitchen for gourmet cooking and dining on the front porch.

Fallen Treehouse pet-friendly near NOLA

Adirondack-style treehouse cabin surrounded by a 99,000-acre national forest. The nearby spring-fed creek is a lovely cooling-off spot with miles and miles of pristine sand-bars. This house has two beds. One is across from the wood stove. The second is in the sleeping loft. The loft has an open fourth wall and a queen mattress. It’s a cozy spot and not roomy. Please see the photos of the main room to note the loft’s ladder near the bed. •••Sports cars fare badly on old gravel roads.

Come relax in the tub on the deck, grill out, or spend your night outside by a fire! Our property has more than 25 acres of trails, creeks, and nature to explore! The owners of this home are Landscape Architects and you can explore their lovely growing fields, the Palm Garden, and the amphitheater accented by Natchez Crape Myrtle.

Our cabin is located on a secondary road behind a locked gate nestled in the forest on six acres of property surrounded by pine and hardwood. Beautiful Brushy Creek is steps away from the porch. The Homochitto National Forest is minutes away. Here you can enjoy hiking, biking or bird watching in the quiet while watching wildlife. We also have games & TV/DVD player hookup only. Take a day or afternoon & go looking for arrowheads, fossils & other treasures like gold rocks.

Waters Edge Cottage

Incredible river views and a peaceful environment provides relaxation in this secluded cozy rustic cabin. Unwind and enjoy the cool breeze on the lower level, lounging in the seating area while enjoying a good book in the quiet surroundings. A country road drive leads to a private beach, a few minutes away, that welcomes a fun day of kayaking, tubing, picnicking, shell hunting, cooling off in the cool water or just relaxing and listening to the rippling water.

Modern Glamping Cabin in National Forest Near NOLA

Bring the whole family to this great place with lots of room for fun. Large, completely renovated cabin in the Homochitto National Forest. On site amenities include huge 2,000 sq ft deck, indoor and outdoor fireplaces, separate fire pit, pool, hot tub, playground, and ~120 acres with miles of trails. Nearby things to do include horseback riding, hiking in the Homochitto National Forest, and boating in the Homochitto reservoir.

The house has a 1200 sq ft great room/ kitchen area that provides the perfect place spread out and relax when we’re not exploring the woods.

Hike the trails into the forest and down to the creek. Hang out with friends in the pool or in the great room which has 3 couches, 2 recliners, and lots of space to spread out. And leave feeling refreshed and ready to get back to life.
