Cosy Log Cabin

Lovely, tranquil retreat on the road to Llansteffan, three miles from Carmarthen. The log cabin is at the far end of a large lily pond within the grounds of our three-acre garden. Features include a log burner, fluffy bathrobes, slippers and towels, DVD library, large box of games, private deck and garden area overlooking the pond, BBQ and outdoor lighting. NB: the Cosy Cabin does not have WiFi. It is not suitable for children under the age of 12 because of the log burner and the large pond.

Ideal for a quiet weekend retreat and a good base to explore the beautiful coast, backing on to the sand dunes, and next to the Millennium coastal path. Bedroom, dining area and kitchenette form one room with a small bathroom separate. TV and internet. Small couch can convert to a bed. Dining table with 2 chairs. Kitchenette has a microwave, kettle, toaster, fridge and sink. PLEASE NOTE: NO OVEN. Heated from log burner and electric heater.

Relaxing location - Lower Cresswell is a Georgian farm set in 36 acres of beautiful pastures, and ancient woodland, and home to Herdwick sheep, Pet pigs, goats, alpacas, chickens and waterfowl, with views stretching over the Carmarthenshire countryside. Our guests choose to stay because it is small friendly campsite and for the quiet environment. We do not allow amplified music at any time and all guests need to be quiet after 10pm. Situated on the Welsh Coastal Path, we provide a base from which to explore the glorious Welsh coastline. A haven for wildlife with regular sightings of red kites, badgers and for the lucky few, otters at play. Holt Cottage is set in the countryside that Dylan Thomas would have gazed upon and has view of his Boathouse and Writing Shed.
