The Shouse - Durants Lookout

The Shouse (shed/house), built in 2017 is a unique space located in a hidden pocket of Beachport. Within walking distance to the centre of town, beach and scenic drive it is the perfect getaway. Located at Durrants lookout where you can enjoy walks to the back beach and lake of Siloam. A funky and cosy warehouse styled accomodation with great outdoor pergola to relax. Lounge, kitchen/dining and bathroom are on the lower level with bedrooms upstairs. There is plenty of room for your boat too!

We built this home in 2019 with the goal of creating a light and cosy space for our own young family to enjoy and make memories at for years to come. It is our pleasure to share 'The Salty Olive' so our guests can do the same with their loved ones. Slow down and reinvigorate with un-hurried mornings and leisurely walks. Good coffee and food. Situated just 2kms from Penola guests can enjoy peace and privacy without the isolation. The house boasts a fully equipped kitchen, 1.5 bathrooms and a wood fire for the colder months. Great for an intimate weekend for two or a fun getaway with friends, the house can sleep up to 8 guests.

You will find our renovated, freestone cottage situated in a quiet, one-way street, a short walk into the centre of town. Both bedrooms have comfortable queen sized beds, quality linen and fans. Rainwater supplies our fully equipped kitchen, bathroom and laundry facilities. Reverse cycle air conditioning and an electric fireplace ensure year round comfort. We offer continental breakfast provisions that include fresh fruit, yoghurt, milk, butter, bread and cereals.

Located in the quiet coastal township of Cape Douglas, Plovers Rest is a beautiful eco-friendly home which is fully equipped for a comfortable stay. With access to fantastic coastal walks, snorkelling, and surf breaks nearby, Cape Douglas is a prime location for the outdoor activities and fishing. Cape Douglas is located approximately 12km from Port MacDonnell and 35km from Mount Gambier. Longer stays can be negotiated. Best suited for a couple.
