Recently renovated, this unique, one bedroom historic property is situated in the rear corner of what was once the Oakleigh Dairy. Close to public transport, great coffee, shops, parks and bike paths it a wonderful destination in itself, or springboard to all that Melbourne has to offer. Access the dairy by going up the driveway into no 2/53. It is on the right hand side. Our house is the red weatherboard one on the left. The house at the front, 1/53, is a private residence.

The off-street parking is very convenient, and you will find all the comforts you need for an enjoyable, relaxing stay in Knox. This guest suite, with blinds in every room, is in a quiet residential area and parties and gatherings are not permitted.

The Long Island Beachside Studio is right on the beach, making it the ideal mid week or weekend escape for solo travellers and parties of two. The studio’s private courtyard includes a seating area for sharing meals, a potted kitchen garden and Weber BabyQ. Enjoy our indoor plants, polished concrete floors, a functional kitchen, ceiling fan and air-con. Breakfast provisions include muesli, bread, milk and fruit provided for the first morning

Our place is close to public transport, parks, and art and culture and beaches. You’ll love our place because of the tranquility, the garden, the level of comfort. We try in many ways to live as sustainably as possible. We grow some of our food and have recently added bees to our efforts to pollinate our fruit and vegetables. What the dog doesn't eat and the chickens do not devour goes into the compost centre and back on to the garden.
