Hatteras lighthouse is one of the most popular sites to see just 5 miles away in Buxton and Ocracoke Island is a scenic ferry ride worth the trip. No sound or ocean view but only 5 minutes from Cape Hatteras Lighthouse beach access and Frisco beach access.
