Thunder Ridge —Entire House pet-friendly near NOLA

Thunder Ridge at the Forest Retreat is an adults-only pet-friendly getaway. Children may come only during specific holidays. Your house will be unlocked. Check-in is a 3 p.m. Here you are surrounded by the Homochitto National Forest. Take a picnic to the sand-bars along the pristine spring-fed creek. Hike or mountain bike on the remote forest roads. Sports cars do not fare well here. Please note that the address listed on Airbnb is not our location. I will email you directions.

Melody House is centered in great views and family-friendly activities. Unique outdoor living spaces, ambiance and outdoor spaces. Enter on grade and then the rear of the house is perched above the woods in the trees. Golfing, kayaking, dining, drives, tours and good food and drink are all within 15 to 30 minutes. Our cabin is located on a secondary road behind a locked gate nestled in the forest on six acres of property surrounded by pine and hardwood. Beautiful Brushy Creek is steps away from the porch. The Homochitto National Forest is minutes away. Here you can enjoy hiking, biking or bird watching in the quiet while watching wildlife. We also have games & TV/DVD player hookup only. Take a day or afternoon & go looking for arrowheads, fossils & other treasures like gold rocks.

3V Tourist Courts @ Magnolia Cafe

Cabins are prewar 1940's motor court with covered parking. Each cabin features, queen bed, TV, WiFi, small bathroom with small shower, original lavatory & fixtures in bathroom. Small kitchenette with microwave and fridge. Air conditioners and electric space heaters. Restaurant (Magnolia Cafe) hours are Tuesday through Sunday 10-3 and Coffee Shop ( Birdman ) on site. Come enjoy history with modern amenities and explore the beautiful plantations homes in our area.

Secluded cabin in the woods-Tinmann Retreat

My place is close to Okissa Lake, Clearsprings Recreational area, city of Natchez, and the Natchez Trace.. it is only 2 1/2 hours from New Orleans, or less than 2 hours from Baton Rouge. You’ll love our place because the property is located in the middle of the Homochitto National Forest. It is secluded and quiet. No plane, train, or automobile noise.. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, families (with kids), and furry friends (pets).

Refurbished Classic Acadian-Style Home with 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths, full kitchen with laundry room, wrap-around back porch overlooking a green pasture with livestock, and plenty of spaces to relax while enjoying the cajun country lifestyle. Located 1 mi from downtown where there is shopping and dining opportunities...2 bedrooms are downstairs each with king beds and share a full bath, the uptstairs bedroom has twin bunk beds with full bath.

Inside, are high ceilings and spacious, open living areas. There is Tupelo Cottage behind the home, connected by a breezeway which is available also. Each place has separate entrances, porches and driveways. My place is good for couples, families and business travelers.
