The Empty Nest - Near Notre Dame and Diamond Lake

The Empty Nest hosts guests who need some R&R, are in town for an event, or just need a change of scenery. We are 35 minutes from Notre Dame, 45 minutes to St. Joseph MI & Warren Dunes, and 20 minutes from Swiss Valley Ski Resort. The house is near Diamond Lake, Stone Lake, and many more all sport lakes/fishing lakes, snowmobile trails, wedding venues, and small town shops & restaurants. There are a few county parks near and a Casino within 15 minutes driving distance for extra entertainment!

We offer our house to you. Fully stocked. Lake toys including: kayaks; boat dock; sandy access; paddle board; some floatation devices for you to use. All sport lake; good fishing; rarely crowded. Come for a relaxing getaway in the country. Cook in our small kitchenette or use our Blackstone or fire pit. Located in a small hobby farm setting with sheep roaming the pasture. We also have a couple cats that claim the pool area as their own. The long driveway and gravel road are perfect for a leisurely stroll to enjoy the great outdoors. Take a swim in the pool or a soak in the hot tub and let the worries of life melt away during your stay.

Great Room has 14' redwood plank cathedral ceiling; fireplace at one end, kitchen at the other. Hardwood flooring throughout. Sunporch (with new sofa and Loveseat) faces the lake, with wrap-around deck beyond that. New Split/Mini ac/heat system.
