This is the most laid back boat and bed in Amsterdam. The location is perfect, very close to the center but just far enough to retreat from the hustle and bustle after your city visit. Enjoy a stylish experience at this centrally-located characteristic place. You are in the countryside, in a rural area. You can walk to the lake (Markermeer) and have a swim. There are some restaurants, the famous cheese-market and you can rent a boat to see Edam through te canals. You can visit beautiful old villages near by on our bikes. In twenty kilometers you are in Amsterdam city. There is a very good connection by bus, it takes twenty minutes. A comfortable chance to visit the museums.

Ben je de stad even zat? Op zoek naar een bijzondere bestemming voor een vakantie in eigen land? Ik verwelkom je graag op mijn unieke locatie middenin de landerijen van Waterland. Op slechts 15 minuten vanaf het centrum van Amsterdam, en op een steenworp afstand van het pittoreske Broek in Waterland, ligt mijn woonark. Om het erf te bereiken maak je gebruik van een klein pontje, om zo de Broekervaart over te steken. Het pontje is overigens privébezit, en wordt alleen door mijn gasten gebruikt.

Van uit het 'veilinghuisje', grenzend aan werelderfgoed De Beemster, en natuurgebied de Mijzen, kunt u prachtig wandelen en fietsen. Of zoek de rust op het water met onze kano's, een aanrader! Ons sfeervolle huisje staat achter in de tuin, en is opgebouwd uit de oude bouwmaterialen van de oude veiling van Avenhorn. Gunstig gelegen op 10-40 km. van: Hoorn-Enkhuizen-Medemblik, Edam-Volendam-Marken. Maar zeker ook Alkmaar, de Zaanse schans, Amsterdam en niet te vergeten de kust van N.Holland.
