Peaceful retreat down gravel driveway 15 min from Mayo Clinic. Enjoy your own apartment with private backyard walkout entrance to the lower level of our home. You will have a bedroom, living area, kitchenette with mini fridge, microwave and toaster oven (no conventional stove/oven), bathroom w/ tub & shower, pingpong table, laundry, and patio with fire ring. Milkhouse Cottage was rebuilt from the original Milkhouse built on our farm in 1906. Nestled in a peaceful valley across the road from the Rush River. Amenities include one queen bed, 1 queen sized comfortable queen sofa bed, air conditioning, private deck, private fire pit & 38 acres of private hiking trails and snowshowing trails. The Hygge (pronounced hyoo·guh) House is a tiny taste of Scandinavia in Southeastern Minnesota. What is Hygge? In short, it's a Scandinavian way of living that focuses on hunkering down and creating a safe, comforting and warm place to while away. My husband and I hand built the Hygge House with your comfort in mind. We love being cozy and having space to spend together so when the opportunity arose to renovate our studio, we wanted to share it!
