Relax in Your Private Spa at This Tranquil Country Cottage

Indulge in a luxury spa experience at a tranquil cottage. Follow a garden path from your decked balcony to a private wood-fired hot tub, sauna, hammock, outdoor shower and summerhouse. It's a great spot for stargazing by night and bird-watching by day. Cook in a modern well-equipped kitchen or have a night off, dinner prepared for you by us and brought over to the cottage. Please note that all logs for the hot tub and log burner are inclusive ! We are pet friendly and welcome 1 large breed or 2 smaller breeds of dog. The cottage is situated in the grounds of our own home. While it is entirely private we are on hand if you need anything and Mark can also provide private catering as a highly regarded chef sourcing the best local produce in Cornwall ! The cottage terrace opens out from the bedroom with direct access to the garden and a path which leads to an outdoor spa with wood fired hot tub, sauna, hammock, fire pit and summerhouse. We are located in the adjacent house should you need us for anything at all but offer our guests total privacy otherwise. The choice is yours ! The cottage is in a pretty rural hamlet surrounded by countryside near the market town of Launceston in the county of Cornwall. A car is needed. The cottage sleeps 2 adults in a King sized bed and up to 2 small children (under 12) on the sofa bed.

The cottage is situated in a quiet location in the market town of Tavistock. It is within walking distance to the town where you will find award-wining restaurants and pubs, a market and independent shops. Only two miles to Dartmoor National Park. A Victorian miners' cottage, part of the Tamar Valley World Heritage Site, it is cosy and refurbished to a high standard. The Lodge is a newly renovated property. It is completely self contained with its own screened patio area. The living space is open plan with a large kitchen, table and chairs, two sofas and a satellite TV. The bedroom downstairs can be made as a kingsize bed or two singles depending on requirements. This bedroom has an en-suite shower room. Upstairs there is a kingsize bedroom with a Velux window and a luxurious bathroom with a beautiful round window. The Lodge is a 5 min drive to the beach.

Although Calstock is a small town it has many great features to make your stay a truly memorable one and is well situated to make exploring the South East corner of Cornwall really easy. The Hop House, a hidden gem in the Tamar Valley.

Rumleigh Farm is a rare, idillic treasure hidden in the Tamar Valley AONB. Set in 17 acres the farmstead has been around since before the Domesday Book. The Hop House is tucked away by itself, in a converted stable block dating from the 17th Century. Despite it's age its a cosy retreat for a couple with all the modern comforts you would expect including underfloor heating and wifi. A rural paradise tucked away providing the ideal break to get away from it all.
