Moosu Guest House and Spa, Cedar Hot Tub and Sauna

Moosu Guest House is a railroad style cabin designed for two people with 12 foot ceilings and floor to ceiling windows in the bedroom for a superb stargazing experience. The private outdoor spa features a salt water cedar hot tub and barrel sauna. Turkish spa towels and cozy robes are provided to complete the spa experience. As part of your stay you will be welcomed with a package including coffee from Nelson’s two iconic roasters Oso Negro and No6 Coffee Co, and tea from Nelson’s Virtue Tea.

Our serene and peaceful cabin is situated 15 min from town center where you will find supermarkets, the rec center, a movie theater, shops, and restaurants. Creston also offers tours of the Kokanee Brewery and local vineyards during the summer. We are 20 min from Kootenay lake. The West Creston Wetlands Conservation Area is at the bottom of the hill. Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway, right on the lake and nestled in the mountains. Located in a very quiet neighbourhood with a secluded beach within very short walking distance. It’s an 8 minute drive to the beautiful village of Kaslo and a 10 minute drive to Ainsworth Hot Springs. It's a 30 minute walk to the stunning ‘Fletcher Falls’; an amazing waterfall and quiet beach. There is also year round use of a hot tub which overlooks the stunning view of the lake and mountains.

Stunning Cabin In The Woods - Close to Nelson

The sun-drenched deck looks out onto a stunning ponderosa pine and sits just steps from an active wildlife game trail. Set on seven peaceful acres, the property is shared with elk, deer, rabbits, two resident ravens, and the occasional wild turkey—offering a truly immersive mountain experience.

The Caravan

Enjoy a memorable and unique experience in the 'Caravan', a tiny home built on the back of a 1967 International Loadstar. Cozy up and read a book in the spacious loft bed. Have a romantic getaway, book our sauna or bring your family of 3 and make use of the twin futon. Walk or ride your bike right out the door on our trails and take in one of the classes or events at For-rest Retreat. Salmo is the perfect place to stay and explore the beauty of the Kootenays.

Nelson Lake Suite - Cozy Scenic Getaway

Kick off your shoes and take in the serene view at our cozy hilltop suite. Enjoy a kitchen stocked with every comfort you expect, plus specialty coffee equipment you’ll love. Wind your way across the road and down the trail to our private sandy beach, and roast some marshmallows on the campfire while you’re there. Novelty and adventure are nearby: only 3 minutes to Nelson, 28 minutes to Whitewater Ski Hill, and 1 minute to Lyons Bluff hiking trail.

This Epic View (not so tiny) tiny house is truly a soul nourishing place. From its large expanse of south facing windows you can soak in the views of Kooteney lake and then enjoy the covered private deck with an outdoor bathtub! It has all the amenities to make a perfect retreat space including a Bose sound system, movie projector and yoga mat. From a comfy bed to artistic decor and a fully equipped kitchen, you will likely want to stay forever.

The Hidden Moose Lodge

The Hidden Moose Lodge is the ideal destination for any guests looking for a place to stay in Northern Pend Oreille County. Located down a private access road, this charming cabin nestled in the woods (NOT on the River) is the perfect retreat for all seasons! Come stay with us on our 1-acre piece of land just a few minutes East of Creston, BC. The views of the Skimmerhorn mountains are breath taking! Enjoy a coffee on your private deck or unwind by a fire next to the flower garden. The cottage is equipped with a coffee machine, hot plate, toaster and air fryer for any of your cooking needs! Side note, there are two steps into the bed for those that have mobility issues.

Our guest suite has a modern rustic feel & can accommodate 3 guests. There is an ensuite bathroom & a separate room with a microwave, hotplate, breakfast sandwich maker, mini fridge, Keurig coffee maker and a tea kettle. There are plates, bowls, cutlery, etc and a rustic wine barrel dining table. The cupboards are stocked with local tea and coffee, with cream in the fridge and snack. There is a bbq for guests use also
