"The Driftwood House Suite", A Woods Bay Getaway

Our home is in Woods Bay, a small community near Flathead Lake. The suite where our guests stay is the back portion of our house with its own entrance. It consists of a porch, a bedroom, a private bathroom, a sitting room and a Pavillon outdoors with a grill and space for cooking. The sitting room includes a desk, a tele and comfy love seat as well as Keurig coffee maker, microwave, and a small refrigerator. It is just a short walk to the community beach, or several pubs, even a small market.

This is a totally renovated barn done to luxury standards and is located on our farm down a private road, situated at the northern end of Flathead Lake. The views are spectacular as you can enjoy 360 degree views of the valley, Flathead Lake, Glacier Park, The Swan Mountains, Blacktail Mountain and the big skies and stars of Montana. The only land in between our farm and the lake is a waterfowl preserve. Plenty of wildlife on the property and it is a wonderful spot to enjoy Flathead Valley.

We fell in love with the smell of pine, the warmth of handcrafted timber, and the slower pace of living with the promise that one day I'd build a log home too. Welcome to your Flathead Lake home away from home. This spacious 3-bedroom (4 bed), 2-bathroom home sits on a large fenced lot, offering plenty of room to relax and play. With two living areas, ping-pong table, & on-site laundry, it’s ideal for groups of up to seven. Step outside to enjoy the deck and expansive yard, perfect for games or unwinding under the Montana sky. Just a short drive or 10-15 min walk to the state park, you’ll have easy lake access to a boat launch or swimming.

The Cabin is on Woods Bay, 5 miles South of Bigfork. 45 miles to Glacier Park’s West entrance. Walking distance to 4 restaurants, & another 3 restaurants are 1 minute driving distance. Besides the many restaurants 5 miles away in Bigfork. The Cabin is very private but is on the same property of the main house. The property's beach doesn’t have a dock, but you can have access to SUP boards or kayaks for use in Woods Bay on request (rental companies charge $60/day/SUP).
