We have one private room which can sleep up to 2 people. This can be set up as either double or twin room, please request your preference on booking. There is WiFi in the room The kitchen and bathroom are shared. We also have laundry facilities. Pets welcome. Parking is available. Penrith is the ‘heart of the Lake District’ and a good place to start discovering this wonderful area. We are only minutes from M6 junction 40. We welcome cyclists and walkers. There is a secure hallway for cycles.

We are locatedn the Three Peaks route and close to the Pennine Way/Dales way. The property is surrounded by the finest walking and mountain bike trails in England. Garden is a very modern, self-contained, easily accessible ground floor suite at one side of the main house. It enjoys its own front door, parking space and wooden picnic table for outdoor dining. Whether you are a couple, a family or a group of up to five friends, Garden offers very contemporary accommodation. With modern furnishings throughout, Garden has one king sized bedroom together with a living room providing a double sized, solid birch sofa bed and a single sized, solid oak sofa bed.

The house is situated on a quiet cul de sac in Kendal, a 10/15 min walk from the mainline train station, Oxenholme Station, and a 20-25 minute walk into town. The bedroom is on the ground floor with an ensuite private shower room. We are close to the hospital, ideal if need somewhere to stay if you are working there for a week or two. Breakfast is provided for you in the utility room, you are welcome to use our dining room.
