We live upstairs with our animals and little one, but you will have the basement all to yourselves with a private entrance through the back. Feel free to use the patio and porch swing. Goose Creek Ranch

16 miles from Pullman and 6 miles from the Snake River, your stay at the ranch will provide peaceful evenings with lots of outdoor space to relax. A golden retriever will great you and a rooster will let you know the farm is waking. Cows are available for practicing your photography skills. There is a fire pit and outdoor bbq for your enjoyment. The view from the apartment overlooks a pasture where you may see cows, deer, or coyotes. It is conveniently located just one mile off Highway 195, about ½ way between Spokane and Pullman. The Farm is a recognized WA State Centennial Farm. You’ll be staying in the homestead house where the Hughes family originally homesteaded the property in the mid-1800s. Steptoe Butte and Rosalia historic sites are within easy driving distance.

We were told the outbuilding started out as a chicken coop and, over time, it morphed into a people coop. If you’re looking for perfection you will not find it here. What you will find is a comfy little place with a feeling of being in the woods.
