The Art Studio downtown

Our Grandpa Max built this eclectic space onto the back of his heritage home in the 1970s as an art studio and woodworking shop. Now we host travelers in this mid-century meets modern Scandi suite. The downtown core is only one block away but the studio is located on a quiet residential street backing on to green-space. Grocery store, coffee shops, restaurants, park with a lookout and the theatre are all within blocks. Perfect for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers and ski bums!

Hot tub, campfire & big mountain views from our garden-level king bed suite just 5-minutes from downtown Nelson. Play board games, book a wood fired sauna experience (+$50), or just relax and enjoy a beverage overlooking the mountains. Centrally located a 2 min walk/bike to Safeway, Starbucks, and a liquor store, with paths just beyond which will take you to Lakeside park as well. Experience Whitewater Ski Resort's expanded terrain in Goatslide this season. This creekfront ski cabin is private & feels secluded yet close to all that Nelson has to offer. A 1 min walk to a sandy beach; 5 min drive to town along the picturesque shoreline of Kootenay Lake; 25-30 min to the ski resort; or 30 min to Ainsworth Hotsprings. Perfect for Kootenay adventures or remote workers (fibre optic internet 1000 Mbps). Additional $50/night for a 3rd guest. Sorry, no pets.
