Great place to come to at the end of a Flathead Valley adventure day. At the top of 14 narrow steps you'll find a one bedroom pad with a queen bed, two comfy chairs, a desk, leather futon, bistro seating, big screen tv and all the kitchenette you need! Free off-street parking makes for an easy entry. This is a great place for two budget-minded travelers who want to be close to it all. The steps to the apartment may be a little steep and narrow for elderly travelers. See the picture.

Stoney Lonesome Retreat

Welcome to Stoney Lonesome Retreat. Why Stoney Lonesome? Not entirely sure, you can blame it on my great grandfather, old Fredrick Richard August Christian Uhde. He named the property back in 1972 and the name has stuck!!! My parents Elward and Susan purchased our property in the summer of 1969 for $500 and we have been here ever since. My brother and I were raised here and now my wife Gretchen and I are so proud to be raising our son Simon here. The third generation on this land.

Tamarack Studio

Private upstairs studio attached to large house with separate deck, carport and entrances. Our place is close to parks, art and culture, great views, and restaurants and dining. Close to winter sports access as well as all the summer attractions the stunning Flathead Valley and Glacier National Park have to offer. You’ll love my place because of the views, the location, the people, and the ambiance. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers.

Just two miles to the town of Whitefish, and 8 to the Whitefish Mountain Resort, 25 and you are at the west gate of Glacier National Park. Hiking, biking, fishing, golfing, floating, swimming, boating, relaxing, and of course the crown of the continent Glacier National Park. This is a wonderful area of the planet, come explore and enjoy Montana at it's finest in our happy, comfortable, homestead.

Minutes away from Glacier National Park, Whitefish Mountain Ski Resort and Flathead Lake. Short walk to awesome coffee shops, restaurants and antique shopping. A community farmer's market is every Thursday night during the summer with live music. Great hiking, kayaking, biking, skiing, snowshoeing, or just come to snuggle up and relax.

Our place is a traditional cottage style home tucked into a rural wooded area near Glacier National Park and the Whitefish Ski Resort. Unlimited hiking opportunities in one of the prettiest parts of Montana await. The quaint town of Whitefish is nearby with many fun shops, art galleries, and fine dining opportunities. We are looking forward to sharing our corner of the world with travelers from around the world.

Glacier Getaway #2

Come and enjoy all the beauty the Flathead Valley has to offer. Cozy 2 bedroom, 1 bath apartment with living room and full kitchen. We are located 10 miles from Glacier National Park and 6 miles from Hungry Horse Reservoir. We are 1 mile from Hungry Horse which has a supermarket, gas station, laundry mat, post office, and restaurants. PLEASE NOTE we are located right next to a bar and you will hear noise.

Lakeview Studio

Ideally located just a few hundred yards from both Whitefish City Beach and the river. An adjacent pedestrian/bike path provides direct access to the center downtown Whitefish. Only a 7 mile drive to Whitefish Mountain Resort!
