Relax at this beautiful retreat situated on 250 feet of private waterfront on Cobbossee Stream(don't let the word "stream" fool you as it's a wide & gorgeous body of water). Home has 2 bedrooms, 1.5 bathrooms, and sleeps 6 guests. Quiet, private property with limited view of any neighbors,. Enjoy the views sitting on the huge deck, or by either of the 2 fire pits. 3 kayaks & 2 canoes here for miles of exploring, including gorgeous Pleasant Pond. Wildlife galore, including bald eagles & loons!

Wild Acres Yurt on 36 acres.

This 20' yurt sits in a private location on our 36 acre hobby farm. We border the 800 acre Kelly Wildlife Sanctuary with trails and a 300 acre pond. The yurt has power, cold running h20, A/C, induction cook top, fridge, micro, coffee maker, cookware, dishes, glasses, cutlery and silverware. It contains a queen sized bed, full sized futon, air mattress, table/chairs, and wood stove. There is an outdoor shower with hot h20 and the restroom is an outdoor privy. There is a fire pit with seating.

Maybelle the Tiny Cabin on 100 acres

Maybelle is an 8x18 cabin with a full-size loft bed, a Cubic Mini Woodstove (wood provided), Natures Head Composting Toilet and Jetsetter massaging hot tub. Kayaks, paddle board, & canoe included . Hiking trails (some solar lit) surround your cabin. Outside is a fire pit and a quick path to the water. Maybelle's kitchen has all the cooking essentials and there's a small propane grill outside & the fire pit for cooking. Cell reception is okay in the cabin, wifi is from a Starlink booster!

Riverside

Overlooking Kennebec River, Riverside is a perfect setting. Open 365 days per year; 2BR, 1 BA, kitchen, DR/common area. Situates 4 comfortably, 6 with the use of couches, 8 with added use of floor mattresses. Renovated, open concept, our home is wheelchair accessible. We accept Service dogs and will consider family dogs and other pets on a case-by-case; please ask. Owners reside on property in separate building. Outdoor trail cameras and AOSU cams in use to monitor exterior of residence only.

The Hawkes Nest

Relax and enjoy this year-round peaceful Lakefront home with all the amenities. Kayak use included in the rental price. (There are 5 Kayaks, life jackets and paddles) Private dock for your boat. Outside fire pit, screened in Gazebo and outside kitchen. Two beds and two baths. Sleeps 4 to 5. Washer and dryer. Air conditioning and heat. Walking distance to Damariscotta Beach on the private road. Less than a 2-minute drive, is the Jefferson General Mkt. and The Jefferson Scoop Ice cream.

The Adams Suite on U-pick Blueberry Farm

Our one-hundred acre farm is located in the small rural village of Washington. It is located just 2/10 of a mile from the village center where the general store, village church, library, and town offices are located. Beautiful Washington Pond boat landing is only 4/10 of a mile away. Easy commute East (30 minutes) to the coast and must see towns of Rockland, Rockport and Camden or West (30 minutes) to our capitol Augusta. One hour and forty minutes to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park.

Oasis Family Farm Near Hidden Valley

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Oasis Family Farm has approximately 40 acres with a farm stand, greenhouse, Chickens, Guinea Hens and Pigs. Less than a mile from Hidden Valley Nature Center with 1000 acres to explore. Newly remodeled 2 Bedroom Guest house (840 Sqft) above the garage with breathtaking views of the farm. Full kitchen with living and dining area. If the weather isn’t cooperating there are a few board games, cribbage board, cards and a foosball table!

Price's Point - Cabin on the water

Brand new Cozy Cabin on a small 181 acre pond. Enjoy the cabin feel of knotty pine and a big country porch overlooking the water. Walk in access to the water or ice in the winter. Kayaking, canoeing, ice fishing, snowmobiling and more depending on the time of year. A peaceful location a mile down a private road but 10 minutes away from a grocery store etc. Eagles, loons and fish will be your neighbors as you are in the moment at Price's Point.

SNOW SWEET, A Yurt for All Seasons

Snow Sweet at The Appleton Retreat is very private, check out the Trail Map. This contemporary yurt faces the Field of Dreams and has a nice view of Appleton Ridge. It features a private therapeutic hot tub on the deck, a fire pit, and fast wifi. The Appleton Retreat encompasses 120 acres hosting six unique retreats. To the south is the Pettengill Stream, a resource protected area. To the north is the Nature Conservancy's 1300 acre reserve.

Mongolian Ger on small farm

This authentic Mongolian Ger is a cozy quiet getaway. Located in a peaceful field on a small farm with horses and goats. There is a small burner and tea kettle for heating water. Tea and coffee and french press are provided. In 2023 while I was competing in the world's longest horse race I stayed with numerous nomadic herding families in Mongolia and I felt compelled to put up a Mongolian Ger on my farm in Maine.
