Rustic Retreat

Quiet, private, secluded home on 25 acres of forested land. The home was built from logs milled on site. Enjoy filtered spring water, natural light, stargazing, & views of the tops of Mount Baker and the Sisters on a clear day. Owls and Elk can be heard during the evening hours at certain times of the year. Heat is provided by a wood stove and 3 space heaters. Mount Baker is 1 hour away; Bellingham is 30 minutes. Well-behaved, house trained, and supervised pets are welcome with a per pet fee.

It is family friendly with a master bedroom that includes a queen bed, a second bedroom with bunk beds, and a pull out queen bed couch in the living room. Bring the family to spend quality time together at the beach.

Warm up in the hot tub, sauna, or in front of the fire, after local adventures in many amazing places just minutes of this special location: Mountain biking, hiking, downtown. Property is on a wooded 5 acres in a rural coltisac of a dead-end road near Cain Lake in Alger. Minutes to Lake Whatcom and Sudden Valley. About 20 minutes to Bellingham, Sedro Woolley, and Burlington, 15 minutes to Galbraith Mountain, and an hour to Mt. Baker. 20 minutes to popular Bow/Edison. Plenty of hiking and mountain biking around!

Middle Fork Cabin

This is truly a unique cabin. Designed by architect David Neiman & featured in the book "Log Houses of the World," it combines Japanese style features & NW log-frame construction to create a truly unique experience. Included in the rental is use of the 13+ acre wooded property, including access to the middle fork of the Nooksack River. The cabin is close to the year-round outdoor recreational opportunities that the Mount Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest provides.

Unplug and Unwind

Enjoy this creekside A-Frame cabin situated on it's own private acre in the woods. Light a fire in the outdoor firepit or curl up next to the pellet stove inside. Have a soak in the wood fired cedar hot tub under the stars. The cabin is the perfect place to chill out after a day on the hill or just a great hideout to escape into nature for a few days. Have a great night sleep on your brand new memory foam mattress surrounded by the forest and a rushing creek.

Within walking distance of the beach, Birch Bay State Park, as well as multiple shops and restaurants. Open layout with many windows for natural light. Private rooftop deck offers amazing views of Birch Bay, mountains, and prairies behind. Very cozy place with a lot of character.

Our luxurious custom built treehouse includes a hot tub, home movie theater, a large deck with a fire table, and breathtaking 360 views.
