Additionally you are only a 1.5 mile drive/bike ride from the Salvo Day Use Area which is an ideal spot for kayakers, kiteboarders, windsurfers, and stand-up paddle boarders to launch from.

Summer is in full swing and the ocean temperatures are mild :) Enjoy marsh views with an ocean backdrop from the covered porch of our little modern beach house. Designed and built by us, the Surf Bug has handcrafted details and everything you might need to feel at home while away from home. The beach is just a three minute walk without crossing any streets. I am a meticulous cleaner, and the white 100% cotton bedding is made in Portugal.

Being positioned in the end of the cul-de-sacs provides extra privacy and makes the back yard really quiet so you can enjoy the wild sounds of Hatteras Island.
