The cottage suits a couple and in the lounge is a sofa bed for a third guest. If there is only two of you and you require the sofa bedding please let us know at booking. Close by is Muriwai Beach with its gannet colony and surfing, also the magnificent Kaipara Harbour, Woodhill and Riverhead forests. Welcome to HobsonVilla, a charming, self-contained studio with its own entrance - suits one or two people. Parking for 1 small/med car (up to about 3.5m). This beautiful oasis in Hobsonville is less than 2 minutes drive from motorway on-ramps travelling North or South and easy access to West Auckland, Whenuapai, Kumeu (10 mins) and the Waitakere Ranges. It is less than 5 minutes drive to the Upper Harbour Bridge which connects Hobsonvile to the North Shore, including Greenhithe and Albany.

Peaceful and relaxing Waitakere escape

This one bedroom self contained unit is nestled within the foothills of the Waitakere ranges in West Auckland. The area presents an ideal escape from Auckland city (but is still within travelling distance as a fringe suburb) where guests can explore the famous west coast beaches, walks and bohemian lifestyle and local culture. The neighbourhood is family friendly and safe. As a host, I am happy to greet you, offer suggestions for your stay or leave you to relax in this peaceful setting.

Compact, purpose-built self-contained studio in Woodlands Park Titirangi, with a deck overlooking our lovely tranquil garden. There is a king-sized bed that can be separated into twin beds. We are located perfectly for access to Auckland’s West Coast beaches and the Waitakere Regional Park with its spectacular hills and forests and delightful Titirangi Village. Central Auckland is only 25 mins drive away. The Punga studio is small, but with everything necessary for a comfortable stay.

The Studio Swanson - city views, perfect for two

Welcome to The Studio, our studio accommodation in the foothills of the Waitakere Ranges. Perfect for couples, friends or solo travellers coming to Auckland for business, holidays, weddings, concerts, sports games and events. Just minutes from the historic Swanson Railway Station, we are perfectly located to enjoy all that the west and north of Auckland has to offer, including stunning west coast beaches, wineries, forest and bush (we recommend guests bring a car).

Misty Mountain Hut - Piha

A tiny isolated hut amidst Kauri and Rimu trees to escape the world, self check in. Outdoor Fire, long drop, outdoor hot shower/bath. Surrounded by Tuis and Wood pigeons the hut is close to Piha and Karekare…or simply stay and enjoy nature. Beaches are 10 minutes away by car. Grocery shopping and gassing up recommended beforehand. Misty Mountain Hut supports local Piha staff by paying $40/hr.

The Barn

The Barn is a private little hide away set in the Waitakere Rangers. Uniquely decorated with open rooms and living great for family and friends. You are surrounded by native birds of every kind. At night all you can hear is the Morepork and during the day only birds and bees. Plenty of room to move around inside and out. **We do not allow the venue to be booked for parties or events.**
