Step back in time with this original 1890s Appalachian solar powered off grid cabin. The cabin has been renovated with all the modern conveniences: solar-powered and includes hot water, gas stove, full bathroom w/ shower, refrigerator, sleeper sofa folds out to queen size bed. With each stay fresh towels and linens are furnished. Kitchen, hot/cold kitchen sink, K cup friendly coffee machine and more! Covered front porch with bench and 2 rockers. In addition to approximately 50 ft. in front, 40 ft. in back, 30 ft. on the side of the cottage. SEE PARKING PHOTOS. We are on Rt 16, part of the ”Head of the Dragon” Motorcycle Riding Route in Caretta, WV. You will have easy on/off access to “Warrior Trail” from Caretta or War.

Take a step back in time. Rural America. Before fast food chains, and even before Walmart... Surrounded by Mountains and conveniently located, direct access to Warrior Trailhead and High Rocks. Enjoy Wilmore Dam, or perhaps a day at Berwind Lake trout fishing, or hiking. This can be purchased with the main house or as a stand alone unit. If purchased together the price will be reduced to $40 a night. Guest will have entire space to themselves.
