Paddocks Cottage on Newstead Farm nestles in the rolling hills near Nottingham Road. Here you can find dams for boating and bass fishing, a tennis court and 25ha of indigenous forest! This rural smallholding farm with Nguni Cows and retired horses has a significant history from the 1840's and gives you the chance to experience the true peace and tranquillity of the countryside, but yet is very central to top restaurants, golf courses, wedding venues and schools. The farm runs on solar power.

We are a little farm so expect a bit of ‘farm noise’ about and general day-to-day goings on. The cottage is self catering, and close to Mooi River town for supplies or takeaways. There is 4km of rough dirt road to access the farm (high clearance vehicles recommended)

With plenty to do on the farm- from Fly fishing to over 4000 ha of mountain range to explore with hidden waterfalls, forests, streams and bushman paintings through to rare fauna and flora.
