Nana's Cabin

Nana's Cabin is located on a private pond 4 miles from downtown. This charming log home was built by local builders for their mother. Guests can drive right to the front door. There is a full well equipped kitchen. Bathroom has tub w/shower, washer & dryer. One queen bed downstairs & a queen, a twin and 2 pull out beds upstairs. Note: The Denali National Park entrance is a 3 hour drive from Talkeetna! There is a 1/2 mile walking trail on the property and access to local bike and ski trails.

A 5 minute walk to the airport and bike shop and 8-10 minute walk to beautiful Downtown Talkeetna. Huge yard and firepit to enjoy the Midnight Sun! A large sauna makes G Street Base Camp a perfect place to start or end your Alaskan adventure!

Even if Denali is hidden in the clouds, you overlook the valley. You can drink morning coffee looking out at Denali. There are not many places that have a view like this. Why stay with the crowds when you can have privacy. Lots of hiking trails right from the house are available. Moose often walk through this area.

These trails all connect and provide access to the Petersville foothills for world-class snowmachine adventures. In the summer, ATV trails are at the end of Susitna River Road, have unlimited trails down old logging trails, or follow the river slough to the main Susitna River channel.
