There is no reliable internet but good cell coverage available; the smart tv can tether to your own device and streaming service provider.

Welcome to our waterfront cottage nestled in a quiet area of Wakefield on a 2 acre property. The two level 1,800sf cottage has been carefully designed to integrate with nature with large floor-to-ceiling windows throughout. Come relax and recharge in nature. Plenty of activities to do: swim from the dock, canoe/kayak, fish, bike, golf, ski, explore the Gatineau Park, the Nordik Spa, etc. (CITQ#304057. The room has a Cottage/Chalet feel to it, with it's beautiful stone wall and cathedral ceiling, Equip with a kitchenette, fire place and interior jaccuzy. It is a perfect place for a romantic getaway or if you are on business but want to feel on vaccation. As soon as you drive up the lane of this private estate, you will feel peaceful. You have your own space and have no interaction with owner.

HOT TUB, Private Suite, self check-in

Newly renovated basement suite (2024) with many little extras to discover. Hot tub in private cedar gazebo with 180 view of a bush and large back and side yards or if you prefer more privacy curtains can be drawn all around. Gazebo is heated by a propane fireplace. Peaceful neighbourhood in Clarence Point, nice trails and area to go for walks. When time permits, we also offer a complimentary 15-20 min tour of the area aboard a 6 seater ATV. Bring warm clothing!

PERCHED CABIN at Mariposa Farm

The Perched cabin is one of our three cabins. We also have the Apple Tree and the Poplar cabin. This is glamping at its best. Window walls letting light into every side. A sleeping loft. Built with logs. Well equipped for cooking. Heated with woodstove - firewood included. In the middle of the forest. A lot of trails to enjoy. No neighbours. The perfect spot to unwind. We are farmers, a precise time of arrival is important. You are welcome to visit the farm.
