Plenty of areas to relax in if you’d like to settle into a book, or if you sway more to the adventurous side there’s an array of activities to pursue locally. Please note you are completely off grid .

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. We offer a small cabin with rural views & access to a large private swimming hole with a sandy beach. There is no internet or TV so you can have a quiet getaway where you can forget the stresses of life & relax. We are on the Kauaeranga Valley Rd close to all the walking tracks, so if you are wanting to walk the tracks during the day & stay with us at night the cabin would be perfect for you.

This is a Studio unit is at the rear of the property, You have your own private garden view. The studio is fitted with Air conditioning a microwave, jug, toaster, 32inch smart TV, fridge/freezer etc. FREE WIFI. The bathroom has toilet, basin with great shower and plenty of hot water. You owe yourself a break by the sea. Chill out on Whiritoa's uncrowded beach only 80 meters away. No sound or sight of traffic here and low light pollution in the village provides front seat tickets to galaxy granduer. Whangamata is only 12kms drive if you would like to eat out. Accommodation is downstairs with your personal entrance. Double bedroom with queen bed, lounge/kitchenette, laundry/bathroom. Comfortable and clean.

We lived in Hawaii for many years and Pau Hana in Hawaiian means end of the week, time to relax with friends or family. Our place is close to the beach but away from the crowds so if you want peace and quiet with great views, this is the place for you. It is good for couples, friends, solo adventurers and people with pets (1 dog only). It is an easy 15 min walk to the shops and 20 mins to the beach. Cathedral Cove, Hot Water Beach and Whitianga are all within easy reach.
