Old fashioned, unpretentious - only 1 block from downtown - restaurants, shops and Avon Theatre. Not fancy but pretty great. Compact. Good light. Homey. Garden with a picnic table. Good for couples or families (with kids). Well mannered pets are fine. Driveway holds 4 cars in a row. For those with limited mobility, there is a large bedroom and a 3 pc bathroom on the main floor - only one step up to deck and one into house if you go through the back. There is a 2nd 3 piece bathroom upstairs.

Great views of the lake and new theatre from the balconies of 2 king ensuite bedrooms in a new house (2016). Festival-savvy host offers total privacy. Avon Vista Guest Suite is ideal to enjoy the Stratford Festival and floral-rich lakeside parks. Leisurely scenic 5-minute stroll to the new Tom Patterson Theatre. Easy walk to all theatres and city centre. Full kitchen, large dining table, 50-inch TV (full cable), theatrical library, rose gardens. Host pays the 13% federal and 4% city taxes.

Cozy waterfront cottage. Nestled in the woods on a private lane. Enjoy this cottage vacation while being only minutes from the city of Kitchener. Take in the fresh air, cast a rod in the lake, float around in a canoe, enjoy a fire under the stars, or just hang out on the deck. In winter, explore the frozen lake with skates or snowshoes. Propane fireplace is available for emergency heat only in winter. In the event of a power outage this would be the only heat available. We allow one pet.

If you are lucky you will have deer, heron, beaver, fox and many more wildlife come to visit.
