However, the public ramp is only one mile away! If you bring your own boat, the private parking area will accommodate it. Long Lake Cottage is on a 10 mph lake that is a pretty peaceful spot to relax. Enjoy bonfires, kayaking, fishing, and grilling at our place. Long Lake is a part of the Pigeon River chain that you can kayak along through multiple lakes. Less than 10 minutes from Angola (Trine University, Pokagon State Park, groceries, etc.). We hope you enjoy your stay! We have a strict cancellation policy, but we will refund you 100% of your stay if you do need to cancel 14 days before your arrival.

Beautifully renovated lakefront cottage on the shores of Lake James with gorgeous sunset views, a sandy crystal clear swim area and dock space for your boat. Well appointed Chef’s kitchen stocked with all of your culinary needs. We offer private cooking classes and during the summer historical boat tours on Lake James. While this could just be a cozy place to crash for a night, it can also be a private cooking class followed by a relaxing sunset cruise on Lake James.

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. This two bedroom home is very clean and peaceful with a nice outdoor patio and spacious living area. This has been completely remodeled with brand new furnishing. We are equipped for any quick last minute stays, but it’s also prepared for any long term stay needs as well. This is less than one mile from the city mound. It’s located on and bike trail that leads you to the beautiful Pokagon State Park.
