Med en time i bil til både Svolvær den ene veien og Å den andre. Rett utenfor leiligheten er det muligheter for fine fjell eller badeturer. Stamsund har også både matbutikker, restaurant og kafé i gangavstand.

Moderne rorbu, ny 2018, til leie på Ballstad. Utsikt til store deler av den kjente Lofotveggen. Fjellene med turstier rett utenfor døren. Den populære Hauklandstranda ligger ca 15 minutter fra rorbua. Leknes by, flyplass og hurtigruten i kort avstand til rorbua. Ønsker du å prøve lykken i den fiskerike Vestfjorden, er leie av båt mulig. I månedene jan-april pågår det kjente Lofotfisket, og du kan oppleve dette fisket på Ballstad, som er et av Lofotens største og livskraftige fiskevær.

Leiligheten ligger veldig sentralt, og har en fantastisk utsikt mot Vågan og de omkringliggende fjellene. 5 minutter til fots til dagligvarebutikken (Joker Stamsund). 20-30 min. til fots til hurtigrutekaia og kun 15 minutters kjøretur til flyplass i Leknes.
