The Understory: Private Retreat with Outdoor Tub

Welcome to The Understory. Nestled deep in the rhododendron covered woods, this romantic hand-crafted tiny home offers you a peaceful and memorable stay just 15 minutes from both Asheville and Black Mountain. Inside consists of 350 square feet of comfortable living space including a rain shower, king sized bed, cozy wood stove and a full kitchen. Surrounding the cabin is another 500 square feet of living space with a deck, outdoor soaking bathtub, and patio with a fire pit and propane grill.

The cabin features a custom kitchen, one bathroom, a queen bed in the loft, a pullout sofa on the primary floor, and your very own outdoor bathtub looking in to the valley below.

Unwind in this modern cabin where nature meets comfort. Enjoy an interactive experience with friendly farm animals eager for pets and treats. This glass and wood elevated cabin sits beneath giant Oak trees and above mossy boulders. The small single room does not have a bathroom or kitchen. A common area with an outdoor kitchen and bathhouse is less than a minute walk away. The approximately 250 square foot cabin has Oak hard wood floors, ceiling fan, mini fridge and Bluetooth speaker. It is well insulated and stays comfortable even in mid summer without AC.
