Vineyard Cottage | Goodluck Homestead

Off-grid eco cottage situated on a working regenerative farm in the heart of the Overberg, with panoramic views towards Walker Bay and the Kleinriviersberg mountains. Surrounded by fynbos and vineyards, this cottage has pure spring fed water, a wood fired hot tub, solar power so is not affected by load shedding. Guests are welcome to wander around the farm, swim and fish in the dams, and meander through the veggie gardens We regret no babies, children or pets are allowed for safety reasons.

Mud Manna - a peaceful and creative earth retreat

Mud Manna is made of earth dug from nearby and crafted with love. Beautiful touches add to the rustic and artistic atmosphere, like handmade stained glass bird windows. Sue's paintings abound. The house is open plan with curtained privacy. Space and views from the stoep will keep you peaceful and calm. Bokmakieries, chanting goshawk, donkeys in a field across the road, wandering horses and cows, a stoep swing... Self-catering and self service. It is next door to Sue's home.

The Rock House

Ever wanted to sleep in a cave? Here's your chance! The Rock House is an ancient stone age shelter and ceremonial site that dates back 25,000 years. Formed from a giant granite boulder and blended with contemporary architecture, the space is dramatic, unusual, and deeply peaceful. It's also secluded, fully furnished, and cozy with an equipped kitchen, 8-person dining area, spacious lounge with TV, and 2 bedrooms. Spectacular view of Pine Valley from the doorstep.

Pied Kingfisher Cottage, Langhoogte Farm

Pied Kingfisher cottage is built using natural building techniques and materials. It has two bedrooms, accommodating four people. There is an open plan lounge and kitchen with a cosy fire place and an outside braai and dining area. The cottage is about 1 km down the valley from the main farm house, promise to offer the ideal off-grid eco-retreat perfect for families, friends and small teams looking to escape the hustle and bustle of city life.
