Cascade Cabin is a cozy and comfortable, yet newer, sophisticated log home on one and a half bucolic and manicured acres, just a five minute drive (2.4 miles) to downtown Nevada City. The spacious home offers four separate sleeping spaces: three bedrooms, plus media room with a full-size pull out sofa bed; three and a half bathrooms, with updated, modern decor and amenities. The house is located on a beautiful private parcel surrounded by trees and bordered by a peaceful waterway hiking trail.

Recharge in the Woods to the Sound of Our Creek

We welcome guests to experience our peaceful, wooded 30 acre property located in the foothills of Nevada County. Witness and listen to the sounds of running water as you recharge; lazing at our creek, hiking through the property, on the guest deck overlooking our natural setting or soaking in the hot tub as you enjoy the wonderful nightly sunsets and evening stars. Although you experience the sense of being completely isolated, you will be within 5 miles of 12 eateries and a grocery market.

Lovely cottage sleeps 8 (we only allow 7-8 adults) in a picturesque country setting located in a convenient location for hiking, cycling, golfing, shopping and wine tasting. Enjoy our comfortable one bedroom log cabin (King bed), with kitchenette, patio with waterfall and private hot tub. 3.5 mi. from the Yuba River with many deep pools, and huge warm boulders. 3 mi. from downtown Nevada City, live theatre, music, art, fine dining and boutique shopping. There is spotty cell service, but you can text via wifi. If you need a fast strong connection please consider that this may not be the place for you.

The Downieville Loft

Right on Main Street , this spacious, remodeled loft occupies the top two stories of the building and has spectacular river side and mountain views. The bottom floor is home to Yuba Expeditions, host to the Downieville Classic and where mountain bikers catch the shuttle for the Downieville Downhill.
