Our 2 bedroom cottage is set on our 200 hectare stud cattle property. Our home is 50m away. The cottage is low set and has soul soothing mountain views of the Brisbane Valley. Situated 3 km from Toogoolawah and the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail. A peaceful setting to enjoy a country break. Enjoy stunning sunsets & sunrises from our viewing area. Cattle & horses graze peacefully nearby. We are close to the Ramblers Skydiving Centre, Watts Bridge Airfield and a short drive to the Somerset Dam.

“WE’VE JUST FRESHLY RENOVATED!” We are positioned in the Lockyer Valley where the scenery is magnificent! The downstairs of our house is self contained and has a private entrance. The space is quite large and can easily accommodate 6 people. Extra people at $15 pp/pn. It has 2 bedrooms and a large bathroom. All windows and doors have security screens. Decorated with a nod to the french farmhouse aesthetic, the light filled rooms feature french cream walls and plantation shutters and farmhouse kitchen. The place is filled with original artworks, found objects and loved pieces. We love to stay at this cottage between our travels - so welcome to our home away from home.

The cabin includes a swimming pool with a large entertainment deck with excellent views. At night you can stargaze on the deck or sit in front of the warm fireplace inside.

The cottage is a modern 2 bedroom cabin with all the modern amenities including a well equiped kitchen, 2 large bedrooms with luxury bedding, modern bathroom, comfortable lounge room with AC. Outside is a large wrap around deck with direct access from both bedrooms, large table for entertaining, BBQ and a bar table which is the perfect position to sit with a morning coffee. There is also a large fire pit that you are free to use and cook on.

Welcome to Maggie's Cottage - an old-fashioned Queenslander with modern comforts set in a perfectly private and peaceful corner of our farm (Mary Valley Yuzu). Ideal for one or two couples but not really suitable for children. While here enjoy the rural views, read, chat, bird-watch, relax around the fire-pit, and generally feel the serenity. Explore local markets, bush trails, and quirky towns like Imbil, Kenilworth and Amamoor.

All the conveniences of home in our little cottage! Our private home has 2 bedrooms + kids bunk room with expansive views over Somerset Lake and only a 2 mins drive to Kirkleigh boat ramps. This is a brilliant way to holiday with the whole family! 8 guests allowed but a maximum of 4 adults (one queen, one double and bunk beds for 4 kids under 12). Please note - no wifi - we come here as a family to disconnect.
