Castra High Country Cottages

Carol and Mark would like to introduce you to Castra High Country Cottage, nestled peacefully in the the Central North West of Tasmania. Inspired by reflections of yesteryear the cottage pays homage to the pioneers of the highlands, and the huts they lived in. You will be taken back to the times of our pioneers in this rustic cottage, but don't be misled by the simplistic exterior, inside, you will find everything you need to help you "Rewind, Relax, Rejuvenate."

Mount View Marrawah

This unique place has a style all of its own. Nestled into the hill on the highest part of our farm sits our newly built 1 bedroom cottage. The space has a fully equiped kitchen, washer dryer combo, internet, smart tv and heating and cooling. Whilst it is only 1 bedroom with a queen bed the sofa does pull out into a bed should you require an additional guest or travelling with a friend. We have tried to make the most of the space to make it comfortable & relaxing.

Sanibonani cottage

A cosy granny flat ( studio ) with all the basic comforts for self catering, with private entrance in rural surroundings. The town of Smithton is in walking distance. Our family live on the property but you'll enjoy complete privacy. It's a great space for an overnight stopover or short term stay. Also ideal for anyone coming to the area for work purposes. Sanibonani means "Hello" in Zulu and we hope you will feel welcome and very much at home in our cottage.

Tarkinegrove, welcomes you to the Wild Side.

Located on the South Arthur River Touring Route just 10 mins from the Arthur River and 5 mins from the start of the Tarkine forest. A private cottage with abundant grounds and resident wildlife this is Tarkinegrove . Bird enthusiasts, photographers and artists will love Tarkinegrove. See the Platypus at dusk during season. Dozens of birds, Spotted Tail Quoll, Pademelons, & Eastern Barred Bandicoot do visit, again depending on the depending on the season.

Abbey's Cottage

Abbey’s Cottage is a spacious 4-bedroom, 2-bathroom home in the heart of Stanley. Features include 2 lounge rooms, a well-equipped kitchen with sea views, original deep bath, and cosy wood heating. Upstairs has a queen room, double room, and bathroom. Downstairs has a queen room, twin room, second bathroom, and laundry. Just a short walk to cafes, shops, beach, and penguins. Arguably one of the best positioned self contained spa cottages in the state! A very secluded single cottage Nestled amongst 5.5 acres of tassie bush only 150m from the waters edge. Features a huge outdoor living area facing North with commanding 180 degree views out over Duck Bay, Bass Strait, Perkins, Robbins and Three Hummock Islands.
