Take the stairs down from the wrap around porch to the overlook to see a breathtaking natural scene then take just a few more stairs down to the dome rock house to the left which leads to a small trail to see the gorge. More trails behind the owner's cabin lead to even more natural rock and water features.

You do not have to be an equestrian to enjoy the benefits of this cabin getaway. But you can enjoy the mountain air, views of horses in pastures and cozy cabin feels. This cabin features comfy queen beds 1 bdrm/1 loft , luxe linens, fluffy towels and a full set up kitchen. BBQ grill, picnic table on deck. You will enjoy easy access to hiking trails, horse trails and you are a short distance away from SXS trails too! Your horses will enjoy a two stall barn with wash room and hotwire turnout.

For ATVs, Brimstone Retreats is located about 14 miles away and Royal Blue is located about 30 miles away. Four wheelers and side by sides aren't permitted on state highways.

Hike the famous Honey Creek loop trail 15 minutes away.

Ranger's Retreat cabin at Big South Fork

The Ranger's Retreat (RR) cabin by Big South Fork will give you all the privacy you want and still convenient to town for the essentials. All of this plus with one of the Southeasts' premier National Park area's in your backyard. The RR cabin is a genuine log cabin made of real white pine logs. It features 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, kitchen, living room and a loft. The RR cabin is great for couples, but the loft with 2 twin beds provides room for a total of 4. Dog friendly (sorry no cats).

A Little Closer to Heaven Primitive Tree house

This little tree house is primitive with no electricity and no water but has a bath house nearby. This is tent camping in a tree house. Located behind the historic R.M. Brooks Store, it is the perfect place to find peace and beauty . Perfect for hikers. Rest in the huge branches of this nearly 100 year old Oak Tree. A Queen bed awaits you for your restful nights sleep. Underneath you can picnic at the table or swing in the swing that hangs below. This is the perfect place to unplug.

The Treehouse TN Honeymoon Cabin HOT TUB - in BSF!

A cozy log cabin for two nestled in the trees like your very own adult treehouse with an amazing HOT TUB! Granite & stainless kitchen, FIREPLACE, W/D, KING bed. 55" TV/STREAMING & WiFi w/desk. The two person HOT TUB (with two pumps and 42 jets) snuggles up to a gorgeous hemlock tree. Many squirrels to amuse you! The private porch also has a gas grill, cedar double rocker, & dining. Cabin is between Jamestown & Oneida, in Big South Fork, with numerous trailheads & hiking nearby.

Cozy two bedroom cabin with unobstructed views of the mountains. On the back deck there is a hot tub and a gas grill. Near Big South Fork and Historic Rugby. 3 mile hike from the cabin to the river round-trip. Or drive to the trailhead and hike half a mile to the river. Come here to unwind and de-stress. Totally peaceful :-) My favorite time of year is winter at the cabin. Nothing like sitting in the hot tub and looking out over the frosty trees and mountains!
