Our "gite" is a self-contained 2 bedroom cottage in the most beautiful part of Salt Spring, the south eastern tip, near Ruckle Park. From our cottage, you can walk to this historic working farm and park, explore its forested trails, and then head to the many beach areas a short distance away. Visit farm stands and take the Studio Tour. Take a dip in one of many lakes. Climb Maxwell Mountain or stroll through the Saturday Market and other unique shops. Salt Spring is a true one of a kind.

The suite is self -contained with a private entrance and deck. This is a wonderful location for discovering the many things the island has to offer including markets, vineyards, brewery, galleries, studio tour, dining, hiking and kayaking. Come stay in our beautiful farmhouse in the lovely Fulford Valley, looking at Mount Maxwell. Family friendly and quiet, we have a fully equipped kitchen and a lovely garden to listen to the birds in. We're located steps from the Salt Spring Island Brewery and have walking trails down to Burgoyne Bay park. Our property also has a free-ranging duck, chickens and a large friendly puppy! Our place is perfect for children – just let us know if you would like us to set up any gear or toys!

Breakfast makings are provided - fresh organic wood-fired naturally-leavened sourdough bread from Francis Bread, also butter, jam, eggs, milk, coffee and tea.
